Of all the futuristic predictions of what life in the 21st century would be like, I don't remember a single one warning us that we would have to struggle to defend the basic integrity of science. But, here we are, after the year 2000, working desperately to hold off the neomedieval agenda of the religious right wing of the Republican Party.

Personal rocket ships and robot companions we don't have. What we do have are prominent politicians trying to make science subservient to religion, as it was back in the Dark Ages. They are trying to undo the Copernican Revolution, installing Christian fundamentalist ayatollahs to dictate truth, regardless of what the research says.

There are still those of us who believe that science should be free from religious and political manipulation. To help spread the message and rally the enlightened remnants of America to defend science, we have assembled this collection of pro-science gear. Bumper stickers, buttons, t-shirts and more declare our allegiance to freedom of thought - the liberty without which no other liberties can exist.
